Tour Duration: 4 Days
Due to the coronavirus, this tour has been rescheduled from March to October. The main purpose of this tour is to provide support to some of the drought effected areas of Central Western NSW supported where possible by local CWA branches and other community organisations. So come and join us in our effort to help our friends doing it tough in the bush. Our first night is at Oberon. Sitting on the western fall of the Blue Mountains, it’s a beautiful town taking its name from one of William Shakespeare’s characters in Midsummer Night’s Dream. Mayfield Gardens, Milthorpe and the Amusu Theatre are part of our itinerary on Day 2 as we head for a 2 night stay in Parkes the town named after the famous statesman Henry Parkes. The CSIRO Radio Telescope Complex and a very unique display near Condobolin called The Utes in the Paddock are part of Day 3 before we head home via Grenfell and Young.
