Due to the the bushfires, this tour has been rescheduled from February to December. A day out in the Kosciuszko National Park with a visit to Charlotte Pass Village, Australia’s highest ski resort. Snowbound for most of winter, during summer we can drive to the village. It is Australia’s oldest and highest resort and is named after Charlotte Adams who was the first woman to climb Mt Kosciuszko. Enjoy lunch at the Stillwell Hotel, the birthplace of modern skiing in Australia; also enjoy a morning visit to the Gaden Trout Hatchery, 10 km north-west of Jindabyne and one of Australia’s main centres for breeding and rearing cold water sport fish. Stop in for a look at the Snowy Regions Visitor Centre in Jindabyne on the way home.
