Cherries At Young

We are again heading to Young, the ‘Cherry Capital of Australia’, an area that boasts many cherry and stone fruit orchards. Our first stop today is at Poppa’s Fudge Factory. Enjoy morning tea served from the coach with the added bonus of scones and cherry jam supplied by Poppa’s Fudge Factory! Inside Poppa’s store there will be a sample bar of fudges and jams for you to taste and lots of goodies to purchase. A local guide will also show us the sights of Young.  After our tour we head to Allambie Orchard where we enjoy lunch including cherry pie, a tour and a talk on cherries. Here you can  pick your own cherries, or there will be pre-packed cherries for sale.
