NEW TOUR. We join Anne Stewart from Gourmet Journeys as we explore the crafty side of the Southern Highlands which is home to many beautiful galleries, gorgeously squishy yarn and fibre stores all matched with great dining and loads of delicious specialty foodie providores. Visit to the impressive Gallery on Track with its extensive display of artworks and crafts created by artists and artisans from across the Southern Tablelands, Blue Mountains and Southern Highlands regions of NSW – all unique and at very reasonable prices. Enjoy High Tea, a delicious treat with all the delicate morsels made in house, at Old Bank House. A glass of bubbly compliments a tempting selection of 3 savoury items, 6 sweet treats plated on exquisite tableware with an endless supply of loose leaf tea or espresso coffee. Visit Victoria House Needlecraft then head to Berrima, home to wool and cashmere creations at Berrima Overflow, the very soft and squishy Australian Alpaca Barn with beautiful garments and a collection of 4 & 8 ply Suri Alpaca & Silk plus some ‘fancy’ yarns and of course, Mrs Oldbucks Pantry well known for its range of enticing foodie products including unique sauces, chutneys and conserves.
