Settle into your own private stateroom as the Star drifts past heritage stations, riverside wineries and starlit campfire moorings, with chef-prepared meals, sunset drinks in the saloon and the gentle rhythm of the Murray setting the pace each day.
Disembark at Echuca and rejoin your coach for the tour’s grand finale — Mildura’s spellbinding Trail of Lights and the extraordinary Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra at Wentworth’s Perry Sandhills — before touring the Riverina’s hidden gems through Yarrawonga, Tocumwal and Barooga on the way home.
🚶 Activity Level: Moderate (Level 2)
This 10-day tour combines relaxed river cruising with light-to-moderate walking at each stop (generally 1–3 km per day). Several heritage sites (Port of Echuca, Perricoota Station) involve uneven or cobbled surfaces, and two evening activities — the FOSO installation at Perry Sandhills and Bullanginya Dreaming — take place on uneven or sandy ground in low light. Enclosed, supportive footwear is essential, and a torch is recommended for evening activities. Guests who use a walking aid can join most activities; please contact us to discuss the Perry Sandhills and Bullanginya Dreaming stops specifically before booking.
Sole Traveller Pricing - PS Australian Star
PS Australian Star cabins are priced per cabin, not per person, so there’s no single supplement on the cruise itself. A solo traveller and two share-travellers pay the same cabin price. For solo guests, we offer a Sole Occupancy Land / Twin Share Cruise package: a private hotel room for all land- based touring nights, paired with a Twin Share rate cabin aboard PS Australian Star. The cost for the Sole/Twin combination is $8,590 per person.
